Puerto Banús participates as an official collaborator in the Chefs & Kids solidarity initiative

Puerto Banús®, one of the most emblematic nautical and tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, participates as an official collaborator in the 2nd edition of the Chefs&Kids initiative, a solidarity event that was born with the aim of inspiring children and linking them to gastronomic culture, without forgetting support for the most disadvantaged.

More than 150 children and 27 Michelin-starred chefs prepared a menu with the aim of collaborating with the Aladina Foundation in its work to help children and teenagers suffering from cancer and their families. Puerto Banús also supports with its presence the solidarity gala of the event, which is the crowning glory of this initiative, which offered an exclusive tasting menu prepared by the eight Michelin-starred chefs of the province of Malaga.

The emblematic nautical port joins this initiative in order to give it visibility and be part of its cause; for this reason, it also organizes a circuit of games with fun activities for the more than 150 children present. Juan Nuñez, CEO of Puerto Banús, declares. “Our main purpose is to actively participate in this solidarity project, essential for the city of Marbella. We always try to be on the side of all initiatives that represent a positive value and prestige for the city of Marbella. We feel very identified with Chefs & Kids for the social value and help it brings to families as well as to children and teenagers”.

Game circuit activities include different classic game stations, electronic, creative, collaborative and even workshops. Some of the most outstanding activities are traditional games such as badge contests or sack races, other collaborative games such as skies or footraps or even giant targets. Technological games are also protagonists, as the circuit includes a competition of terrestrial drones or a Beyblade sand area.

Thanks to all of them, the youngest forgot for a few hours about mobiles, video games and tablets and live an unforgettable experience outdoors.
